Atom Industries in Sydney Australia i believed released proberly some of the first electronic ignition units into the market in the 70 i think cannot recall the launch date.
They were the same people who manufactured the Atom Chainsaw which in a lot of ways resembled the Solo's of the same period.
Atom chainsaws didn't last to long in the Australian market place for a few reasons which i'm researching now.
Their EI units were colour coded in green blue and brown to give a visual indication of different amounts of advance.
Atom sold millions of these worldwise especially into the American market.
