I never used the ones sold under the Atom name but I have used the ones from Stihl.They work just fine.I have had some in saws for over 4 years and I never had one guit yet.

BUT, my supplier suddenly no longer has the orange module. Where do you get them from?

The last few I purchased through Laser.I dont know for sure but I think that Stihl still sells them.

I've got the newest Primeline catalog here. They have green, blue and brown Atoms no orange. Whats the difference? I've used the Nova modules and have had good luck with them.

Atom makes Blue, Green, Brown, Red, Yellow and special go kart modules but I have never heard of Orange. Brown is for Chain Saws

It is the CX8 module that will replace points and some of the separate modules from the coil. Used it for all this time and it seems to have disappeared. The new NOVA module is working well for me though.

Can someone post a pic showing an atom module installed on a Stihl 031av?

The Stihl electronic conversion unit is an 1118 part number, originally appearing on the 028 farm boss. It lists for $21 through Stihl.
