not the same a bb 250, it is a hydro feed disk not a chuck n duck


you would need a auto feed controller(brain) an auto feed tach and I'm not sure how it actually stops the rollers , I never really looked at the system but I am assuming its a solenoid that simply kills flow

You would be correct that it would need a solenoid for the feed rollers. There are 2 types of auto-feed. One being that it would simply stop the feed rollers letting the wood tick the knives as it regains its rpms. The other is an auto-reversing auto-feed that would back the wood off of the drum or disc (requires two solenoids, forward and reverse).
Either way, any chipper can have these features added. I would recommend contacting Bandit or your dealer for the proper products and auto-feed settings for the tach. It's not a complicated system and it can help your production.
