Okay i have been offered a 2005 BC1400 with 10 Hrs on it for 25K.Obviously this machine shows NO sign of any wear.I think its actually only had a 1/2 a tank of fuel thru it. Good Price? If i'm correct isnt a new one around 31?

i think that's about what they list for. Actually cost is more like 28-29. Either way it sounds like a great buy. If you're not interested give me the number i may be.

Hmmmm my Vermeer Dealer quoted me a BC1000 for 24200.00 I thought he told me the 1400 was about 7K more. Was i getting Reamed?

I'm remembeing what my uncle told me about a year and a half ago when he bought his second 1400. I'm quite sure he paid well under 30k..

I was just quoted yesterday on a new BC1400 for 35,500 and that is without a winch. The chipper has a 122 horse power Cat in it. This sounded VERY high to me. I would jump on that price you were given. The 10 hours ont he machine are just demo hours.

This Machine was actually sold to a guy last november He obviously was not in the tree bizz, LOL A 1yr old used machine with 10 er 14 hr's now. I'm still demo'ing it.

DFD, I don't know what kind of Vermeer dealer you have, but I was quoted $35,500 not that long ago for a basic 1800 with the winch. Actually my Vermeer dealer was pissed about a year ago when Morbark gave away a fully loaded 2400 hurricane (less loader) for $35,500.
