Man, what a bad day for equipment! First of all I rocked the chain on my 25" bar on my 044 with this:
Second job I did with this chain. Brand new RCS! The deal was to cut it to fence level. A half inch higher and I would have missed it! Unbelievably, the chain is still throwing good chunks rocked. A little work on a couple cutters and I'll be OK I think.
Also bent the new chain on my 200T! Saw got caught in the kerf and dropped on the lanyard holding the log I was cutting (small piece) but a chunk of wood got caught between the chain and the bar bending the chain to the point it won't roll on the bar. Thank God I had a spare with me.
Then I blew out a loop on my saddle and lost my rope ring and saw snap!
And people wonder why this work cost so much. I'd like to see them keep up with the equipment costs for awhile then get back to me on that one.
Oh yeah, I also lost the bottom screw for the dog on my 260. I had a spare one but it was still a pain in the arse.
Couple more pics: Nate "The Walkman" (groundman extraordinaire):
Tomorrow's tree. Brushed it out today but will drop the trunks tomorrow when I go back to load the logs:
