Hi I was wondering if anyone has purchased and used this BIG BORE KIT from Baileys. I would like to know what its quality is like and life expectancy is. I would also like to know if it will fit my 362xp ? That looks like it would make a pretty good saw

It will not fit a 262.

Quality is decent, I know some who have put some hours on them and so far so good.

Though I would honestly have to say they are not an OEM jug and I would not expect them to last as long, with the type of plating being the issue. But then again well less than half the cost.

Do Baileys test these BB-kits on a Dyno(or whatever the chainsaw-equivalent is called) against OEM parts?

/Nisse

There is no proof that they have done so, but what do I know?????:D
Good question. I'll see if I can answer that.

A lot of the book specs of a lot of models across the major brands, strong opinions on saws you haven't ever used. How did I do? :)

I'm wondering also...

I am looking at getting one of these p/c kits, and sending it with my 371 off to be woods-ported. (or just getting a fresh OEM piston kit for the Mahle jug & send that off...)

So looking for some bit of morale support from those with similar experiences.

Bailey's has had their BB 044 & 046 kits out for awhile, and I have not heard anything horrific from anyone.

Thanks in advance for advice or input.
