Anybody notice how baileys raised the price, of the're top end kits for some saws, by $20 to $30. I just got my new catalog yesterday and i noticed it it. Whats up with that?

It is called making money. A necessary step to having a business. One good way to do that is to price the items that do sell with a higher profit margin to offset other aspects of doing business that are not as profitable.

yeah i noticed this. the chainsaw laynard went up 5 and chainsaw bolts went up .20. interesting.

And what goes down in price I might ask.
I am sure their costs have risen just like everyone elses. If your costs go up, do you lower the price, keep the same price or raise the price of your goods or services. I'm curious.

I won't complain.
The prices are 1/2 of what we pay here in Canada. That is if we can get some of the stuff here. I keep asking myself "if its that cheap in the U.S. and they make a profit how much profit are the Canadian businesses making. Example, a 20in loop of 325 is $28!!! plus 14% tax!!!!

I guess my dealer is just a little better than yours. I pay $27 + tax for a 24" loop of 33RS or RSC. Less than that for Oregon

And it's 13% tax now not 14%

i just got the new catalog today.

husky 357/359 non EPA mufflers look like they went down about $20.can't beat that.

unfortunately prices usually go up but i didn't notice any increase to get upset about.
