Isabel was the cause of the blow over.

i try not to post pics of us actually working so i don't have to get read the riot act about ppe. we just cut every thing off that did not have presure on it. then used the power pruner to make a few cuts and let it roll off the garage. the metal shed was emptied and moved.

on the last pic you could see where an old limb either broke out or was removed. it caused a hollow cavity that captured water. when we cut the stick up it had a pulpy streak right down to the base.

the blue streaks in this pic is from old clothes hooks.

the pics from yo brooklyn, there was some damage there. i'm sure we'll be seeing it for a few weeks to come.

i'm doing the commute thing these days 118mi each way.

That sucks. What town did you move to? I know that the TSP going south in the morning rush hour really blows.

i'm up by millbrook.........i just take the tsp for 16mi then take 84 to the thruway. we still have the apt in the city but i prefer it up here.

Yeah, it's nice up there. I am most familiar with the Hopewell / Beekman area so really the farthest North I go usually on the parkway is Beekman Rd. Its a lot quieter than down here, a lot less traffic, and you get a LOT more for your money.
