Bandit HP20 Stump grinder slow at changing direction of travel

Is anyone else running one of these? Anyone who has will know about the ridiculous 5 second delay when switching from forward to reverse and vice versa. I know similar machines with no delay.

Has anyone modified there Bandit grinder to fix this problem in some way? So far this is a very disappointing machine

I have one of those grinders-just grew accustomed to the delay (mine seems to be around 3 secs).
