bar recommendation for Stihl 44

If purchasing a new Stihl 44, what 20 " bar would you recommend for felling and bucking.. Go with Stihl bar or other brand

It will come w/ a Rollomatic ES from the factory. Keep a very sharp RS chain on it and keep it oiling right, and you won't have to worry about a replacement for it for a while.

At that point, you have GB, Cannon, Oregon...

The Stihl dealer is not supposed to sell just a powerhead, as was already stated it will be wearing a good bar when you get it.

I like the very aggressive large-diameter-nose (3003-000-9622 on my 044) Stihl RS bar, and I wouldn't even look at any of the other makes if they didn't have an oil dam behind the inlet.

Not a pro, but I'm a big fan the Stihl ES, which it'll come with. I'm quite happy the ones on my saws.

What do you guys think about Woodsman Pro bars? Are they worth the money?

Woodsman Pro bar - the rails are hand ground and flame hardened finished and last about twice as long.....but it's twice as expensive too!

A Woodsman Pro bar is a Cannon bar. Both are overkill for my needs.
