Seth- The Bar Shop machine was made by a company in Washington I think. They've been discontinued since the early 80's. One guy on e-bay had one- sturgis57, I Dunn know if he sold it.
I bought a brand new one in 1994 for $1800, I still buy wheels and disks from them and I'm sure they still make them if the owner is still alive. He was getting pretty old but really a good guy. The owner invented a lot of tools like the bar shop and they have a catalog, check it out. Dennis
I think Sturgis 57 is that guy that I bought "mine" from. It was headed to Dennis Greffard as a gift but I`m not sure if it ever left Rotax Roberts barrage, LOL.
I`d like to know how it`s working, but Dennis is a hard man to reach lately, although it`s not like I`ve tried daily. I suppose the same thing could be said about me.
Russ, yep the barshop did make its way here, and is set up in my "sled shed" as I don't have room for it in my main shop. I haven't used it for bar grooving yet, but do use it quite regularly, and love it!
