Milling up some tulip poplar 3/4" thick X 20" wide give or take some. We basically just slabbed it down and then ripped the board edges on a table saw.

This is for a guy who owns a tree outfit that I mill for. We are seriously thinking of investing in a Norwood band mill because his new property will need lots and lots of siding.

Many of the beams and rafters were cut down with an axe and you can still see the edge of the log on either side. I'll get more pics of the building its pretty amazing. It basically has no roof right now so I'll have lots of progress pics as we go forward.

Ppl be hateing asbestos. In some products it's awesome. Like the siding tiles, they will last forever. With no harm to your health. Just don't go sawing on em.

Yeah that's what Steve wanted. Don't think he wanted to deal with demoing asbestos. I told him just do it on a rainy day lol.

It honestly is really old and brittle. The whole place is super run down and I think the new wood siding will make all the buildings look renewed.

I work at a place built in the mid 50s asbestos everywhere. I don't think it's a big deal, I always use the "wet method" in dealing with it no problem with the dust. Maintaining this old buildings u will have to deal with it sooner or later. Just protect yourself.
