G'day
We have a BC1000 XL and, not for want of trying, have been trying to get information on the chipper body rubber mounts.
In particular the rear mount under and in front of the in-feed chute, which seems to have collapsed(?) which now means that the in-feed chute is about 25mm (1") higher than the chute to the feed roller.
While it doesn't sound much it causes problems when trying to extract jammed timber but, more importantly, it seems that the chipper body below in-feed roller is resting on the plastic fuel tank which causes us some concern.
My question is - How to change at least that back rubber mount? And should the two front mounts be changed at the same time? If so how difficult is that?
We don't want ot just give the machine to vermeer as we feel that the price given to us is a take it or leave it option, meaning none.
Appreciate any and all suggestions and advice.
Thanks
