I have no opinion, but could be bribed to vote one way or the other.
How much $$$ and how many hours on it? Photos?

I have an opinion. Pass. I like Morbark better. They are more like a tractor with easy to find parts. I've owned Vermeer, Woodchuck and Morbark and the Morbark is my favorite so far.

Some guys really like the BC1250. They are very well built. Short, compact and powerful. They are also pretty cheap.
The large vertical feed rollers feed better then the skinnier horizontal Bandit 200 style. But there is no lift cylinder option so a chipper with a lift cylinder will out work it. The single edged blades are another weak link.
Engine access is great as is the 100 hp Perkins engine. Makes cleaning and service real easy.
One of the oldest models out there and I have seen plenty 20 and even 30 years old and still going strong.
The BC1230 is just like it just with a 80hp Perkins and not turntable, about a 1000 lbs lighter.

These are a fairly good chipper but I would say pass also from my own experiences.

I have only used the Vermeer's and Bandits, however the Bandits are way better IMHO and we have never had the breakdowns like the Vermeer's have on the Bandit's. I have always liked the Bandit's better.
The Vermeer was not ours though so maybe it was just how well (or not well) it was maintained.
