I did a maple take down yestarday first time out with the new line. The weather was great but the was sapping. My line was soaking wet and my blakes was binding up bad. Anyone have this problem ,I left the old split tail at home so I had to stick it out. Not really impressed yet maybe it needs more breaking in.

yea, when it rains, seems like everyhting sticks a little worse....you need to "massage" the knot a little more to loosen it up.

I tried the bee line a few weeks ago on a trim I think? Didn't care for it at all. However I got the 8mm, so maybe that makes a bit of difference. Went right back to using my crystaline, which has yet to let me down.

Swampy, which beeline are you using to tie your hitch. What climbing line do you have?

I think the 10mm velocity is the best climbing line out there.

Hey Nick, I just retired that lanyard you did for me a few years ago. The match was starting to bung up and was sticking, that with the wear I figured it was time to have Sean make me a new one.

He had jsut made it when i saw your old post on the bull hitch, i think that would be perfect for a carabiner on a flipline.

Can you email me some pictures? nick@splices by nick.com (remove the spaces, of course)
