Here i try to show how a rope weakens when bent, by isolating the load to a few fibres.
Then how this same thing would happen to a tree falling on hinge, the fibres away from the motion of the fall, become most leveraged like the rope. Only the hinge can have more fibre left in the strong leveraged position, for it is crafted per use on site.
When adding in the lean to the side, another set of pulls and arcs is thrown in. The most leveraged helping fibres that fight both pulls of lean and fall at the same time must be identified. And on site a hinge to fight both of these pulls with most leverage and power can be made. This will put the fibre where it is most needed and accessed, a single use hinge machine, manufactured to order per use, not a all purpose line (or strip hinge) for whatever comes along.
A stronger pulling hinge, by having the strength, where the load is carried increased with more volume of strong fibre and even more leverged positioning of those fibres working for you at the same time. Using the natural forces in hinge to take over most of the load of steering off balance part of load's demands of your efforts. So all the rest of effort forces go into other departments of SWL, forcing stronger hinge, awareness etc.
