Title says it all. New to saws. I acquired another 42 special saw recently. Has a bit of carbon build up on the exhast port. But otherwise piston looks clean. What is the best way to remove carbon buildup? I’m to nervous to scrape it, worried about scratching the piston scraping it.
Would soaking it in seafoam for a couple hours with piston up work? Then wiping it with a rag afterwords? Read somewhere this is a good method. Used seafoam before in my truck and it’s a good product.
