I hate when people cant spell the brand of what they are selling.

It doesnt make me want to buy from them, when they dont have the intelligence to spell, or the effort to walk out to the garage and look.

Drives me NUTS :dizzy:

I typically end up emailing them asking a few questions, and they cant spell there either and arent able to comprehend what Im asking, I just say forget it, some other brainless hemorrhoid can buy it.

partially true---but some people--that cant type, still may have a good item--just have to be careful what your dealing with. that husky may have been the bargain of the day--

Thats true, If they have something I need at a decent price, Ill just forget about overloading their brains by asking questions and just buy the damn thing

That is exactly my thinking. You never know until you check it out. I really could care less if the owner cant talk, cant spell and has no teeth if the saw is right. I dont need it but thought someone else might.:)

There are so many reasons why a saw might be in someone's possession, I completely agree. I'm cautious about buying stolen equipment, but without talking to the seller you can never say...could have been his Dad's who passed away, could have been given as collateral for money owed, could have been traded to them, or even in lieu of work. Lots of reasons. Could be he bought it new and doesn't need it anymore...;)

Good for you for passing the info along seeing as you couldn't use it yourself!

Is that an R8 adapter in your avitar?

Not an R8 adapter , its a 1/10th scale model of a deck gun off the USS Constitution. Turned it by hand on a lathe. Two inch breech, twelve inches long, 9/16 bore. Fires 100 grains of FFG black powder with a loud Kaboom.

Now THAT is cool! Thanks for sharing that info, I have been thinking it's an R8 adapter...lol

I LOVE it.

Makes me want to check them out if it's a good price w/ a pic. Especially when it's something people would search for based on name.

Last year in April I found a Kubota B7610, w/ Fel, Box Blade, and a 5 ton trailer.

For 11.5K. Most people thought it was a kicking deal, since it was the size I wanted, a trailer I needed and a Box Blade I wanted. The guy had advertised it as a Kabuto or some such. I didn't ask.

I just checked out TractorHouse, now, a year later, 9.5K and up, without a FEL, Box Blade or a kick-butt trailer.

I think a lot of people searching for a brand name item should widen their scope. It seems that often people that can't spell don't kow the real value of an item.

I've only found 1 major problem with the tractor. I don't get enough seat time.

But it sure is handy for picking up little sticks before I mow the lawn.
