Removed 2 large maple stumps this morning. The landowner had a guy limb them way back last year and with the long and dry summer we had I think the ends dried out severely. There was new growth but all the barn was falling off and the tree felt very dry. The plan is to mill them into slabs. Best part is I grew up in these trees and expect to find a few nails from tree forts
