How-do fellers. I am new to the site, but have been collecting for a while.I sure hope you guys can help me with a little problem. Recently I picked up a mcculloch model 73 (120cc gear drive). It is in decent servicable condition but it pobably will need a carb rebuild.Normally this would not present a problem however the carb is a mcculloch brand and I cannot find a rebuild kit anywhere. Does anybody know where I can find one or if a different carb will work in this application?Thanx for lettin me bend y'alls ears.

I luvs me some cubic centimeters.

Bob's Lawnmower repair in Maryland, New York has the rebuild parts for those McCulloch carburetors. Sorry I don't have his number handy right now, as its at work in my shop. He is a truly helpful and knowledgeable soul on all the older McCulloch saws.

Thanks fellas. I actually talked with Bob and he ahd some great stuff I had been looking for but not the carb rebuild kit for the 73 though he did have rebuild kits for later model mcculloch carbs. Also I did try to start it. It will pop and sputter a bit but won't stay running.

lotsa old saws,most running,some dirty:D
