Big saws 2

I see that django found his big saw. One of the A.S. members is working on an 090 for me, but in the meanwhile I'd like to try to get another large saw for milling hardwood. If anyone has leads for a good used, reasonably priced 088 or 3120 (especially a modified one) please pass on the information.

I would rather that you didn't post the price for that saw. I don't think that I can buy anymore at that price.
I would be careful when you place that saw on your truck hood. You may scratch the paint. LOL

Dan that pp141 looks mean , what gear do you have on it a 10 or 11 tooth .404 , she must be a handfull to run

I went with a 9 pin on that little saw. I didn't think that it would produce enough power to pull the 10 and 11. It does work well with the 9 and I am going to build a 10 pin for it. I think that I can get more out of that saw.
My first test cut with that saw was in a 9" piece of round Red Shag Poplar. It fell through the cut so fast that I almost cut my foot off OK.
