(jk.) What is this? Sticky. No strong smell. In photo, light areas are where I scraped bark to investigate seepage. Appeared overnight. Rain washed it away. Hasn't returned in 2 days. Texas red oak has several long scars I just guessed were antler rubs. The actually scary part: the tree is near a high-value live oak motte. Thanks in advance for your insights.
