I have a Bobcat G series cab, I have broke two headlights from pushing brush, is there any kind of screened covers out there? Does anyone run the forestry package?

I like that, I didn't realize the forestry package had that much protection. I thought itt came with the 3/4 glass and some side protectors, thanks for the pic. I like the radiator cover also. I will check with Bobcat this week.

we have taken the radiator cover off and built a window screen with Velcro to put over the stock screen when it starts to plug all you do it pull it off and shake it the put it back on. also we bungee cord a small gas blower to the back to help with the dust that get's past it and on the radiator

I talked to my dealer today about the forestry package, and he had no idea that you can purchase these parts individually, he really acted like he had no idea on what I was even talking about, I was disappointed in them today. I'm going there tomorrow to pick up my headlamp assembly, I will see about it then.

They sell the kit so they should sell replacement parts ! If they can't (won't) help you pm me and i will se what i can do

It wouldn't be anything for me to fabricate some, mild to wild, (light covers) You know where to find me. chris A.K.A. Cmetalbend

any pics ASD??

I went to local Bobcat today and asked the guys about the forestry package, I had all the salesmen and owner looking for this thing, they had never heard of it before. I'm glad they found it because they started acting like I was crazy for asking. I guess we have more corn than trees around here!! I finally got a print off of the parts but they couldn't give me any pictures of what it looks like from the front, do you have any pics of what the headlight covers look like? It appears that it is a clear cover which is what i'm looking for but the way it mounts is a little unclear. So if you have any pics of the front of that skid steer that would be great. thanks frank

See what they want to ding you for, first, before you buy!! My buddy's fab shop makes all the Tool-Cat headache racks for the local dealer, 'cause the factory ones are flimsy, and pricey.

You could probably have them fab'd for cheaper. It would be an easy fab job, and you'd get the light cages exactly how you want them.

I could make those with mah eyez closed.

I agree not much of a fab job challenge there, which I have (2) tigs, (1)mig and a Ranger 9 portable with a LN7 wirefeeder, What I couldn't tell was how Bobcat made theirs. I didn't want anything that had any sort of perforated metal, a stick would still penetrate the lens and I didn't want something so burly that it would shadow most of the light when needed.... so that left me wondering what bobcat uses and now that I see how they are doing it, I will price but may end up building it, if costs are not reasonable. But thanks for all the offers guys.

I personally think the forestry package is unnecessary. I could see a point if you were roughing up very tall pines or something similar but those trees should probably be done with other equipment.
We use a "tree shear" package down here that protects the lights, muffler, etc. It's not the strongest protection but it has served me well. For 10 years of Bobcat's in the thick, pokey cedar thickets, I have never broken a light. Had one pushed out but not broke.

When I resize some pics, I'll post them or you can pm me for an email.

Yeah thats all I'm wanting to do, just my lights and maybe radiator screen, I have damaged that also. No I'm just pushing brush, tree tops and such, back in the woods, or going in deep to snag one out. I really need a grapple bucket, I think that would cure most of my problems. I could controll the brush better rather than picking and dragging with my forks.
