I am not a climber, just interested in rigging techniques. Which would be the better choice? The Tree Climbers Comp. or The Art and Science of Practical Rigging.

At a minimum, the book for ASPR'n. The video series is excellent too. Porbably the best industrial training video that I've ever seen.

If you're an ISA member you save money.

I agree with Tom, I would get the ASPR. I have it and I normally reread it about twice a month, and it has given me creative solutions to various obsticals I have encountered.

Both - TCC for the climbing aspect and ASPR for the rigging aspect. Did you upload the right picture? What do the horses have to do with it....

You'd swear those horses kick more like a mule if you had to put shoes on them. They do look pretty.

Sounds like ASPR is what I am looking for.
Yes they are logging mules, I just figured ouy how to post a photo and had to try it. They are waiting on me to stop looking at pics in a book and start falling timber.
