Anybody know what a bow bar is for a chainsaw and or has anyone used one and what is their purpose Please tell me thank you.

the pulp wood fellas use to likeum ,cause they could lean into to control pulp trees..i got one in the truck somewhere that came off an 660 evl echo.. i guess it would work.it got the safty hook an all. 25 plus shipping gets it.
ps i think the pictured bow bar is upside dn. i thot the hook was on the bottum to
stop kick back. but i never used one so could be wrong.

The guy selling the one on ebay has a reserve of about $150 so forget buying it. I have a 015 with a bow. I have no idea why I have it but I do. Ialso have a WIZ 66. I have not used either so I cannot comment on how unsafe they are.

but i do have to dig it up.. i saw it several weeks ago in the truck somewhere.

just send 5 more or less no matter..
i had an chain but t hink i made and 20 inch out of it...it takes a long chain as there was plenty left after i cut it to 20...
let u see if its what u need and like i say send what u think its worth to u,,after u know. tony marks 13822 five pts rd locust nc. 28097.
