Permit lousy techniques in pulpwood cutting.


The Bow allows a cutter to limb and buck (even fall small trees without a notch) without worrying about saw pinch. Even if the kerf collapses the thin bar race with that hollow middle can usually be forced on through the cut and then the bar can be retrieved from the cut pieces.

It was made to kill the user of the saw its attached too. Do not use one of these unless someone with experience with them shows you the ropes
