That tree looks pretty small from the pics, seems like alot of work to go all the way up for suckers now you have to go back up to take it down. Wouldnt it be easier to leave them on and run them through the chipper with the branches. Not trying to critisize you just curious.

this is a fair sized boxelder about 60' tall and 32" dbh I have removed larger. I had a couple of hours to work on it and remove some of the nuisance stuff all the small junk that hangs up flip lines and rigging lines. Most I would have had to remove on the way up while others are wating on my costing me. Also the H/O is taking care of the brush and logs. Anyway that was my logic.

Well...if u had nothin else goin on that day then I say what the heck, atleast u was out climbn! Beats sitn on your butt thats for sure.

looks like a 2 to 4 hour tree climbing depending on the drag. bucket tree I would say less than an hour

why waste time with suckers? throw line in and hip/body thrust up to the first crotch and spike up, looks to be enough room to drop a sucker laden spar

Rigging lines?? that tree is small and verticle enough to cut and chuck the whole thing

I missed the no haul part, climbing 1-2 hours.... and I would leave a mess of tangled up s h it with wood on top of it

Well their is a little more involved by that I mean two sepetic tanks right next to the tree and the septic line between the two trees. Some of it I did cut and chuck but the stuff close to the house and over the septic is comming down on a rope.

Septic tanks are no problem with a tree that size, limb up the tree and throw all the brush in a pile and bomb said wood onto brush pile then drop spar onto said wood and brush pile. A tank is actuall pretty strong even more so this time of year being that the ground is frozen. Who has 2 septic tanks?

I am not sure why he has two tanks but he is going to replace the whole system because he stepped through the top of one of the tanks eariler last year so he is a little worried about them. I am giong safe and lowering it, I am guessing maybe 4 to 6hrs for the two trees.
