I just read an article about Bradford Pears being a pest tree, maybe a lot worse than Privet or Chinese Tree of Heaven, etc. The Bradford is an unnatural concoction that doesn't behave well in the ecosystem. Not only that, it reverts to an ancient chinese root stock pear that has spines like honey locusts do. Ouch!
