Hello
I am new to the forum and need some help with my peach tree please. I was pruning our mature peach tree today. I went to remove a dead branch from the tree but forgot to undercut and the branch spilt leaving a hole in the tree. The wood seemed have been rotting as it spilt real easy. Upon inspection the wood had a blue tint to it in spots. Anyways I would like help and advice on how to repair the hole left in my tree. I've heard tree repair kits do more harm than good. Do I have a tree that's going to die now or will it recover if I just leave it alone and keep it dry. It's real sunny already here where I live
Thanks in advance for the help guys and gals
