BK and I are thinking of getting some t's done up and market them here. Right now we are looking at only L & XL, black on grey, 6 oz cotton.

One design as a trial baloon before trying to put more of his work on other t's.

What do yall feel is a reasonable price for a t-shirt shipping included.

For those of you who have not heard his name, youve seen his art in "Tree Climbers Companion", the Sherrill catalog and in the trade journals.

I think it would be neat if he would make up a design similar to the the Bumper sticker Sherrill sells the Anti Topping with the bird and the chain saw feet I'd buy one.

I would think that the sherrill sticker art is proprietary.

Right now we're thinking about something on a "Buckin'" theam. like "He's Buckin Crazy" or "Lean Mean Buckin' Machine'. Big log, big saw, sweating guy in chaps and helmet with chips flying.

"One Crazy Bucker"

Kinda thought that the bucking would cross over the arbo, logger, saw buff lines.

Still kicking it around. He's not too happy with the projected returns on his art. Three people out of 84 hits on this post saying that they would buy one...

Great artists are seldom appreciated in their own lifetimes. But please, Brian, don't take that as a suggestion.

Actually, we have a couple new t-shirts coming out in our 2002 catalog. One of which is the "take the top down and go for a ride" concept, like in the ad we ran a couple months ago. JP, I think whatever you come up with should definitely have an edge. We water down some of Bryan's ideas sometimes, because we have to make sure to be safety conscience, not piss anybody off, adhere to alliances...and so on. You, luckily, can pretty much do whatever you want, which will make Bryan happy. If you need any help from me, just let me know.

Unless you want to trade or loose money I think 16 bucks is the closest to the real deal. Not enough volume.

I found a local joint with a pretty good scale. I never expected to get rich off of it. I surly dont want to do the Agape thing at trade shows. (The younger people always get a kick out of that copulating tree one.)

Had some good feedback in emails so far. Maybe I'm not drinking pay-oh-tee tea after all.

I think the shipping cost will be the make/break part.

What's the deal with Agape anyways, since you brought it up. I don't know if it's just me or what but I've had the worst luck with them. A few years ago I saw a shirt on their website that I really liked-something about "my daddy is an arborist" that I wanted to get for my daughter. So, I ordered it and it never came. So I emailed them and they said the order got lost or something, ordered it again, never got it......on and on. So, a little while ago I saw their ad in TCI. Tried to open the website and it wouldn't work. Emailed them. They sent a friendly email back saying the ad wasn't supposed to advertise the website because it wasn't up yet. They said send to send my mailing address and they'll send a catalog right to me. Haven't gotten anything yet and that was a while ago. I get the feeling they don't really want to do any business after all that. It get's pretty irritating after a while.

I would probably buy a few, but in a medium. I would think a lot of tree climbers wear medium, but maybe not. Think of the small guys!

What he said!!!! I'd go for small, but at the biggest medium.
I love the art, but the iffy captions don't do anything for me at all. Just another opinion!
