I'm fairly new to the sceen of residential tree work after getting my experience in the woods logging and running a firewood business. Having said that I'm realizing that a bucket truck is much quicker than spikes and ropes for removals. So I'm saving my pennies... Now I don't know too much about bucket trucks, but I'd like one in the 60' - 70' working height range. I know that there are alot of different boom makers out there and I don't need to get into the who is better thing. What I would like to know is what maintence costs are involved with one. I know the standard D.O.T. crap for a on highway truck, but what are the issues particular to bucket trucks. Help please...
