Just got a note from the WC ISA. The anti pollution nazi's in California are going to start enforcing the registration regulations for portable diesel engines, (PERP). But no big deal right? The "fee" (tax) is only $270 per engine. Unless of course, you did not know that the dead line is Dec 31st. After that there will be penalties and late "Fees".
If you don't know about this program, like I didn't. ( Dang, I feel like Rip Van Winkle. Get out of the every day tree trimming scene for a couple of years and then come back and find everything's changed!) Better check it out because it can get real expensive if you get caught operating your diesel powered chipper or big stump grinder with out proper registration.
