I just bought a new Glide from my local vermeer. I am climbing tomorrow for a future employer in this saddle. I am used to floating dees, as my last saddle was a 15lb weaver 1038 leg strap floater. I could not find the micro mouse pulley which has 1 sheave and 2 eyes for split tail climbing. Can I for tomorrow clip my biners directly to rope bridge? I also have the classic CMI purple micro pulley which is rated for 7000 tensile. I could clip my rope termination biner in there and clip my hitch biner to the other. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot.

P.s. I am ordering that pulley monday

I've got the glide and before I got the pulley in, I ran on just a carabiner for about 2 weeks with no problem. I can't remember exactly which sherrill catalog it was, but one of them even has a pic of a climber in a glide saddle with that set-up (and we all know that sherrill would never show unsafe work practices :greenchainsaw: )

You can run the micro pulley on your bride providing that the pulley has never been used in rigging purposes or anything of the sort. You can not run a rope right though the pulley, you will need to use a carabiner to connect the micro pulley to the rope.
