This is a big, heavy old Homelite, it looks like the original paint was green and someone painted it red. Can anyone tell me what it is?

c series

Search for c-9, somebody around here put a lot of effort into restoring a c-9 into better than new condition.

I removed the muffler and tried to measure the bore, as near as I can tell it's 2.47" or so. the exhaust port is very narrow and its hard to get in there with the calipers. Matt

Im thinking C-91.

Is there a screw to the left of the rear handle near the thumb oiler where it joins the airbox?

If so, does this screw attach to and adjust the carb idle setting?
