Can anyone tell me the best way to rig a lowering line with a long Eye splice in it to a pear-shaped rigging carabiner?
Seems like if you just loop the carabiner on the end of the line one time, it will put a lot of pressure on the very end of the eye splice.
but if you use a little Clovehitch it should put pressure on three different points. who's got an opinion?
