Not looking for making a big long subject here as this has been discussed to death many times. But I can't seem to find that link about what is in the can fuel. It's not gasoline. Also as for the Ratio my thinking on the 40:1 vs 50:1 argument would be, If it's good synthetic oil 50:1 if you want to buy crap oil from Walmart 40:1. I'm guessing the reason the cheaper crappy equipment usually states 40:1 is to cover their butt in case someone uses the cheaper oil. ?? Maybe. I really want to find some good reading material on the ingredients in the Bottled Premix though. Any help out there? Thanks.

I run a tank of pre-mix through my saws, blower, hedge trimmers etc after every five liters of pump mix. Running my equipment exclusively on pre-mix would be too expensive. If I'm running in a new saw for example I'll mix to a ratio of 32:1 and as the saw beds in I'll lean out the mix to 40:1. I never run a 50:1 mix and I use only fully synthetic two stroke oil.

Thanks but not looking for opinions or personal preference. Someone posted a link one time about some kind of fuel in the UK (I think) It's not gasoline it's a blend of some kind of solvents, like Xylene or something. If this stuff lasts for years I highly doubt it's gasoline. I use it alot myself when I don't think I'll be consuming alot for awhile. As far as the story of the 50:1 stuff, this place is full of opinions but no one seems to know the facts. Surely some dealership personel have been taught this is some classes.
