I call bull. You can't get Geo's with half wraps! Two tone orange over white, maybe, but definitely no half wraps.

Geo's are strictly top handles.

I typed the number into E-Service and it said it was invalid.

Stihl did not always keep track of their serial numbers as well as now. That may be why it showed up as invalid.

I have "a few" 066's here's a #,,,,, 144 xxx xxx and its date on the handle is sept. 99,,,, does your saw have a poly flywheel or metal????? have a 132 xxx xxx has a metal flywheel???? Jeepers more of mine are missing the MD tags than have them ???? never really looked before,,,

It will also show "invalid" if of Canadian orgin...

Email stihl and ask them, but... I'd say it's 1998...
