Hi there,

I'm looking for full Chisel ripping chain and I think what I see in Bailey's catalogue is round tooth. Am I correct or completely wrong? I'm not up on the lingo and abbreviations.

If you can, please point me in the right direction. I'd hate to order the wrong chain!

Thanks!

Woodland pro ripping chain from Baileys is semi-chisel (rounded). My limited experience with milling with full chisel (admittedly with a stock crosscut angle) is that it dulls really fast. I assume the thought is that semi-chisel is slower in the first cut but faster overall due to less sharpening.
