A customer of mine has a 20ft long 2 1/2 ft diameter substantial but rotten hemlock that he wants taken care of , the largest equipment I can get to the log is an atv so hauling it out would be in pieces and I'd have to dispose of it so could a smaller rental grinder grind it up ?

no that will jump all over the place:jawdrop: tom trees

Not entirely true. You can chew it down pretty good but when it gets too light, it will jump around and you won't be able to finish it all.

I ground up an old pecan log for my dad. I was able to get all but the last 3' or so.

If you can understand even half of what he types, you are doing better than most.

wt:censored: i have a 630b its ok for stumps that are uprooted but a little grinder no dump the wood it will save you the wood will jump all over the place tom trees

get 4 or 5 of your buddies to sit on one end of the log and start grinding the other end. Might want to bring a case of beer to keep them occupied as that wheel gets closer to them.

lmao!!!!
