Are they the same single-rivet tip bars like Oregon's "Power-Match" bars? and if so, are they painted white with the black Stihl logo? I know Bailey's uses the single-rivet tip on their "Woodsman Pro" bars, and paints them black like Cannon does. However, they are not the high quality like the Cannon bars are. Cannon bars are the truest brand new, and still have the most consistent rails. Those Woodsman Pro bars are a close second though, they rank right up with the "Oregon Pro" polished bars.

Jacob,

Just to clarify the Woodsman Pro bars that Baileys sells are Cannon bars,Cannon now uses Oregon Power Match tips.I called an spoke with both Cannon and a rep from Baileys.I hope that helps a little. You are right though Cannon bars are the best but they are also the heaviest.

Later Rob.

We got a batch of them Stihl bars with the Oregon single rivet tip, been about a year ago, never seen them since.

Yes to both questions. I also noticed that the bars had made in Canada on them vs. made in germany. The laminated bars where oregons as well. As for cannon bars. Rob is right cannon and baileys are the same thing. As far as quality goes the rails are very hard, but they cost a mint and they still have a oregon RSN which I have had some problems with as of late.

BTW ms 460's are going for around $600 usd OTD.

Jacob, are oregon pro's still being sold?
