Just ordered the dual port for my 460. Other than the muffler cover the saw is stock. What carb adjustments should I look forward to making? I use the saw at 1500 ft above sea level. Thanks for the help.

Better load density, higher ratio,,,,,,

Ted
Lot of past post say that after a a muf mod. saws run faster and thats why they need more gas, but thats not entirely true, they do run faster, but carbs mix by a ratio, a little faster flow would for the most part be at the same ratio. But your getting the faster speed because the engine is scavenging better with a less impending exhaust flow. With the increases in load density in the cylinder, better load densities can support combustion with a richer mixture. The more you get in, the more you get out.
Expect the H to come out a tad.

Thanks ShoeFast, I guess what I also needed to know was whether or not any other carb mods will be needed, or can I expect to have enough adjustment with the H screw?
