I seen it here once but can't find it . I know you have to divide or multiply the CC of an engine by a number to get CI. Can someone tell me what that number is.

Thanks

There's 2.54 cm/in. Multiply 2.54 X 2.54 X 2.54 = 16.387 cubic cm/in. Take your Total cc's and divide by that number. Example: 70cc / 16.387 = 4.272. Does this help? I know confusing. Enough for now. Merry Christmas to all. Had to add my 2 cents. Lewis.

There are a few of the Stihl model numbers that come close to the CI. The 028W was 2.87 CI.The 044 is about 4.3 CI. The 038 started out around 3.8CI. The 056 had many versions up to about 5.7CI. I just wish that would keep this going so the 088 was 8.8CI.
