a client of mine has a grove of cedar trees where they keep dying off. some of which rather suddenly. I noticed bore holes in one of them but it had been dead for quite some time. any insight?? sorry I ain't got no pics. I'm behind in the technological revolution.

gorman-get the sawlogs, they are good money here, probably there too.

Good advice on the logs, it is very useful wood.

To diagnose the problem, clip off some branches that have living and dead foliage and send it in to the agricultural extension agent in your county.

Has the hydrology of the site been changed recently?

the water tables are unchanged. A couple of them fell half over and uprooted, but when I inspected the root area they were growing on huge rocks with no room for any taproot. no visible pests either.
