After separating from the military 7 years ago I worked for a tree service full time for just under 3 years doing ground work, and climbing. I had to go back and work for the military but continued doing tree work part time since then. About 6 months ago my old boss got out of the biz, turned over some equip to me, and I got licensed and insured myself to do tree work, however I still work part time since I am still commited to my other job right now. I want to send in my CA exam app since I have been studying quite a bit and have gained a lot of knowledge and experience over the years, but since it's part time I'm not sure I'll be eligible. Should I apply or wait a bit longer?

I would think that you would qualify to take the exam with your experience. If you feel confident in your preparedness- I say go for it! Good luck!

The full time and part time should be enough for the (naz)ISA to accept your application.

You will be fine, they will just want to see some invoices or even just some estimates from your time working for yourself.
