I'm here in France with no parts for these saws, and wondering if anybody has a parts saw or can steer me in the right direction. I haven't cleaned it up yet, until I know I can find the right part.

I'm more than happy to pay for the part and your shipping.

Thanks,

Pete

I need an oiler, I took mine apart and lost the check valve....
Id check ebay for the adjuster. You can find anything except a oiler check valve for the 610 series...lol. I just dont want to buy a parts saw because I have a bad habbit of making a parts saw into a runner....im trying to avoid that by getting one ebay. I see 610 oilers new for 25-25 bucks....thats out of my budget...for an oilers anyways..lol

If I'm seeing it correctly, the bar dog is half broken away.

You just may have to get some steel flat stock and saw/file yourself a replacement. I may be mistaken, but the threads on those are #10-24 tpi machine screw.

I would get another 10/24 screw and a piece of flat stock and make your own.
File it down with a file until it fits the bar hole.

Thanks for the advice. I'm definitely interested in making the part, but I don't have any abilty to cut threads, and finding someone around here with non-metric tap and die stuff is impossible. If someone has any other fab ideas I'm happy to hear.

Yes it is very grungy. My neighbors don't take care of their stuff too well.

The part you need it 91982, Nut - Bar Adjustment.

For such a small, simple item I think the best course for you is to make one as suggested. Certainly you could substitute a 5 mm screw if you can't locate a 10-24 tap to make the internal threads.

Someone has already "repaired" the vent in the fuel tank cap so you saw is not exactly stock anymore, a little modification to the adjuster nut won't hurt the value any further.

If you don't know what it needs to look like, let me know and I can take a photo of a whole one for you.
