chain filing & husky file guide, newbie post

It is for oregon safety chain 91VG, 3/8" pitch, I like the husky roller guides for filing as a concept, do they make one that fits this chain? The gold colored one for 0.325" pitch is off a little which should be expected.

Also, the high ties straps on this chain seem like they would interfere with the depth guages, ie stick up higher than them after a few filings, do they need to be filed down a touch lower than the depth gauges?

I see they offer the same chain less the safety straps as part number 91vs, think I'll use this next time

If you can find some Carlton N1C chain, you can use their File-O-Plate with it. It works as well as the roller style guide.
