yall know i love my saws but i have an 1800 hr kohler 20 command on my ztr..
is anybody anywhere close to carolina able to rebuild and mabe soup this thing up.. its reaching,, i know but the machine is as solid as an 028 and just thot id ask if theres any one who knows how and could do it reasonable..this modifying
hasnt caught on in standard work mowers that i can see . but i dont know why it couldnt happen.. not interested in high powered blow ups... just mower made better with more everything due to mods.. like say dan does to saws ...

Not alot you can do with the old aluiminum block kohlers.

give me a K series cast iron block and ill make you 35-40 hores from a single cyl..

no, ive built several garden tractor pullers..

not much work, cams, valves, pistons, cranks, blocks, about anything is available aftermarket for them...
