I had the hardest time getting a sawyer out to mill some trees that were felled on my neighbour's property and that he gave me. Out of frustration I ended up buying a big, old chainsaw with the thought of CS milling myself but ... as a newbie to chainsaws I think I really would still prefer a pro. Is there anybody who does this sort of work in the area, or know someone who does and will return a call?
The biggest log is about 40' by maybe 4-5' wide and pretty straight. It's been on the ground since maybe October. Not sure what type of wood it is, someone told me ash, someone else maple, and finally I was told oak. Lol.
