Anyone have experience with big bore kits? I am going through an old 372xp and searching for rebuild kits online. I would like to know if a bigger bore is worth venturing or stick with stock.

Excuse my ignorance but what is the “W” in XPW? That piston would fit a 372xp?

XPW is 75cc. I can't remember what the W means but I'm sure someone will comment. No replacement for displacement. From what I understand you can still get the piston and cylinder kits new from Husqvarna for about $150.

I believe I found it on eBay. Do you know if I can use the stock bearings or clutch? I don’t imagine that either would change size at all.

The only difference is the piston and cylinder. All other parts, as long as they're in working order, interchange. But the saw needs overhaul for a reason. If there is scoring on the original piston and cylinder the reason needs to be determined and corrected before new parts are put on.
