Morning. I bought a new Husqvarna chain at Lowes for my Husqvarna 460 Rancher (no Oregon chains for 20"), which has an Oregon AdvanceCut bar 200SFHK095 on the 460 Rancher.
20" / 50cm bar
3/8 pitch
.050 gauge
My question is about the Husqvarna chain packaging for the 20" chain, which states;
Chain type: H80 (72V)
Drive Links 72
Pitch 3/8
Gauge .050
So from the above, we look good in regard to matching chain with bar type. However, on the actual chain at the bottom where it slips in the bar, I see a number 80. On an Oregon chain that I bought in a combo package that came with the Oregon bar that I listed above, the actual chain had a number 72. Does that number represent the drive link or something else?
I also noticed on the chain that came with my unit, it has a number 47. I was under the impression that the number represented the drive link, but a bit perplexed due to two different chains not potentially matching what the packaging states. Thanks in advance for the help.
